SPECSAVERS Cleckheaton marked one year since the store’s opening with celebrations and some special guests.
The store welcomed the Mayor of Kirklees, Councillor Masood Ahmed, to meet the team and take a tour around the store, which has four testing rooms and runs three audiology clinics each week.
Councillor Ahmed also received an eye test and congratulated the team on the care it provides. He said: “Hearing and eyesight are incredibly precious and access to professional care services is a valuable part of our high street and I’m pleased to be able to help celebrate the store’s first anniversary today.”
And if one VIP wasn’t enough, the store’s first birthday event was also attended by local MP, Kim Leadbeater MBE.
