A MAN has been charged with the production of a controlled drug after a “sophisticated” cannabis factory was discovered by police in Shipley last week.
Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team Officers applied for an extension to the 24 hours they can keep someone in custody without charge following the earlier arrest.

West Yorkshire Police used community intelligence to carry out a warrant at the property, where they found 138 cannabis plants.
A 28-year-old man was arrested and has now been remanded to court.
