POLICE want to find a man who was released from prison for a serious sexual offence.
Farid Boughlan, 39, of Calderdale, came out of jail after serving a sentence for a serious sexual offence in London.
But he has failed to comply with notification requirements since and now officers would like to locate him.
Boughlan is not believed to have left the country but he has potential links to West Yorkshire, Sheffield, London and Coventry.
He could be anywhere in the UK though.
Police have conducted a number of enquiries to find Boughlan but so far are yet to locate him.
He is described as North African male, who is approximately 6ft tall, with brown eyes and may walk with a limp.
He also has a number of tattoos - an anchor and skull on his left arm, a Chinese symbol on his neck and numbers on his fingers.
Police have issued an appeal to the public to find him and have also released a photo of Boughlan.
The image of him is from June 2017, so it is possible that his appearance may have changed significantly since then.
Anyone with information that will assist in locating Boughlan, or who spots him, should contact police in Calderdale on 101, or using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on: 0800 555 111.
