THE Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Martin Love, has offered his congratulations to the Bradford district’s Adil Rashid and Harry Brook on their part in England’s T20 Cricket World Cup win.
Both Adil from Heaton and Keighley-born Harry who grew up in Burley-in-Wharfedale, played a crucial part in England’s victory over Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia on Sunday.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford said: “We are all so proud of both Adil and Harry and the part that they have played in the whole tournament and especially their role in their team’s victory in the final for England.
“Not only are they both such exceptional sportsmen, but they are also outstanding role models for our young people and our communities right across the Bradford district.”
