A BRADFORD organisation is inviting people to join in with its celebration of Black culture, history and art as it looks ahead to 2023.
Windrush Generations is calling on people from all backgrounds to attend the first Black Culture Arts & Planning Group meeting, which aims to make Black contributions in Bradford more visible across the district as a whole.
The meeting will take place at the BHCA offices at Mary Seacole Court, near St Luke’s Hospital, and will discuss upcoming projects and events, such as Windrush 75 and Commonwealth Nation Day.
Future meetings are planned to take place on a monthly basis. These will be in person and may also be streamed via Zoom.
For more information, people can contact windrush-generations@outlook.com or phone Nigel Guy on 07378 837177.
