A motorbiker caught riding on moorland was detained after trying to make off from police.
West Yorkshire Police’s Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team, were joined by Operation Steerside for patrols on the moorland and roads above Haworth and Oxenhope.
Officers approached the riders of two electric motorbikes before they attempted to make off.
One male was detained and reported for riding on moorland.
Meanwhile the vehicle was seized.
Enquiries are ongoing to confirm whether the motorbike was stolen.
The second man, who "did not wish to speak with officers at the time" forgot his mobile phone, police said.
In a message to its owner, a police spokesperson said: “This [phone] has been safely deposited into the property stores and if the owner would like it returned, please contact West Yorkshire Police.”
