A MAN has been charged after a sophisticated cannabis factory was uncovered in a Bradford district drugs raid.
After two days in police custody, officers were able to charge the 28-year-old with the production of a controlled drug, cannabis, this morning.
They had used community intelligence to execute a drugs warrant at the Shipley property on Thursday afternoon.
NPT officers uncovered a drugs factory filled with 138 cannabis plants.
A 28-year-old male was arrested at the scene.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Shipley NPT officers worked tirelessly on this for two days and applied for an extension to the 24 hours we can keep in custody without charge.
"The male was charged with producing controlled drug of Class B - cannabis and remanded to court."
The raid was aided by Shipley Town Council’s thermal camera.
PCSO Ben Verdeyen added: “Shipley's thermal camera works again!!! A fantastic purchase that keeps bringing results #moneywellspent.”
