A WOMAN was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after she crashed her car and then abandoned it on a key Bradford road.
The white vehicle involved was completely written off following the collision with a central reservation on Harrogate Road just before midnight on Friday night.
When police got to the scene, they discovered the car had been abandoned.
Following enquiries, officers located the woman and arrested her.
One witness said: "There were loads of police on the scene.
"I'm a doctor so I went to see if I could help any injured people.
"But I could not see anyone. All I could see is blood inside the car."
A spokesperson from the force said: "Police were called to Harrogate Road, Bradford at about 11.29pm on Friday, November 11 to a report a car had collided with the central reservation.
"The car was found abandoned at the scene.
"Following enquiries officers located and arrested a woman on suspicion of drink driving offences.
"Recovery was arranged for the vehicle."
