A NEW airline has started flying in and out of Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) to various European destinations.
Flights from Hungarian ultra-low-cost carrier Wizz Air have been lifting off and touching down at the Yeadon-based airport.
From its 22 weekly departures from LBA, the airline's destinations include Bucharest, Cluj, Wroclaw, Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice and Gdansk.
Winter 2022 and Summer 2023 flights are now available for purchase.
Nicola McMullen, Aviation Director at LBA, said: “The start of Wizz Air flights at Leeds Bradford Airport offers a fantastic range of destinations.
"We look forward to working closely with the airline and welcoming passengers over the coming months.”
LBA is Yorkshire’s largest airport and helps millions of passengers reach a wide range of international destinations every year.
