A FORMER Bradford College lecturer has set up a new tutoring business in the city.
Ranvir Fennell, who has 22 years’ experience as a lecturer and course leader of IT and Digital Media at the college, is using her expertise to bring personalised in-home and online tutoring services to the area.
Under the Tutor Doctor brand Ranvir covers Bradford, Huddersfield, Brighouse and the surrounding communities.
She said: “This area is very much home to me. I’m so invested in making a positive impact on the lives of students and families in our community, and I believe bringing Tutor Doctor to Bradford and the surrounding areas is the perfect route for me to do so.
“Entering this new chapter and becoming a leader for high quality education is an opportunity I won’t take lightly, especially having gained an understanding for exactly what students in the area need over the last 22 years.
Having worked in education for over two decades, Ranvir says she understands the inherent demand for specialist, accessible services for students with diverse needs.
She added: “My mission is to ensure all students have access to a well-rounded and enriching education – and to make them feel as though they aren’t just a number.”
