POLICE were called to a waste recycling firm yesterday after human remains were reportedly discovered.
West Yorkshire Police were made aware of the situation at around 10am.
The remains were found in Knowsthorpe Way, in the Stourton area of Leeds.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police received a report of human remains having been found at a waste recycling firm, in Knowsthorpe Way, Leeds."
Officers attended the scene to assess the remains and establish the circumstances.
Police have confirmed there are no further updates at present.
