DIVERSIONS put in place yesterday following vandalism to a bus in the Bierely area have now been lifted.
Yesterday the First West Yorkshire services 620 and 621 were travelling on a diverted route, avoiding Bierley Estate and Bierley Lane, after vandals attacked a bus and smashed its windows.
Services 620 and 621 will be travelling on their normal route.
⚠️SERVICE UPDATE 620 & 621 ⚠️
— First West Yorks (@FirstWestYorks) October 28, 2022
Due to vandalism, the service 620/621 will divert, omitting Bierley Estate and Brierley Lane.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Pictures released by First West Yorkshire showed extensive damage to the bus, which had its windows smashed.
The incident is the latest in a string of vandalism attacks that have affected bus operations in Bradford.
In the summer, a spate of attacks took place on the Ravenscliffe estate, prompting an urgent meeting between officials.
