POLICE have issued a CCTV appeal after a 73-year-old man had his nose broken following a punch to his face on a train.
The elderly male attempted to board a train heading to Blackpool at Sowerby Bridge Railway Station when the assault happened.
His suitcase bumped into a woman on the train and a man with her then abused the 73-year-old man.
The man punched the victim in the face and he then fell to the floor, suffering a broken nose.
The suspect left the service at Preston.
Officers investigating the case have released images of a man they believe has information that could help them.
He boarded the train at Bradford Interchange.
