Chris Roberts, of Bradford & Bingley Weatherline, brings us the latest of his regular weekend weather forecasts.

Low pressure is dominating the weather and will continue to do so for a long while yet - possibly another couple of weeks.

This will bring bouts of showers, some heavy, and often a strong breeze but mixed with sunny periods too. The current warm temperatures are expected to lower to average values into next week.

So, what does the weekend bring?

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Bradford & Bingley Weatherline

Saturday

Morning rain will affect the district but should become lighter and less frequent as the day progresses. However a shower could pop up anywhere and it will be a dull, drizzly and misty day with fog over high ground. Temperatures will range from 10 to 13C but will become milder into the evening in a light to moderate SE breeze. The evening and night should become drier but quite mild at 15C by midnight.

Sunday

A brighter day with the odd sunny period and still the chance of a shower, brought in on a moderate to, at times, gusty breeze, but any showers should be light and fleeting if we get one. Temperatures will range from 12 to 14C in a light to moderate, initially SE, to SW breeze. The night should be mainly dry with a moderate to fresh SW breeze, becoming a little lighter by dawn

Further Outlook

Much the same. Unsettled but with average temperatures.
