THE owner of a Bradford district salon was left devastated after discovering a yob had plastered her shop with paint.
Alix Iluk takes pride in her stylish-looking Cole & Co Hair Studio on Northgate in Baildon.
However, this was taken away when a mindless vigilante sprayed the white substance across the shop's front.
"I was absolutely gutted and thought who has got it in for me," owner and founder Alix told the Telegraph & Argus.
"I am a mum of two who is expecting a third. I don't even go out, all I do is go to work, come home and look after the kids."
The incident occurred at around 5.30am in the early hours of Monday morning.
The former Hanson School pupil said: "The salon is closed on Mondays but my friend works in some offices nearby to the shop and she noticed it.
"She rang me straight away and then I headed down there.
"(CCTV shows) He did it so fast. He used equipment that sprayed the paint onto the window."
Alix was understandably too preoccupied with looking after her one-year child to clear the mess up herself, but she managed to gain a favour from a family friend.
The Baildon resident added: "My mum had our decorator working at her cottage.
"I thought because it is paint she will know how to get it off.
"She came to the rescue and got as much off as she could for me.
"It does not look its pretty self like it usually does. It does need another wash. It is a nightmare."
