A BRADFORD woman has won an award at a ceremony celebrating those in the residential real estate industry.
Katie Purdam, 29, of Bingley, was crowned the “Rising Star” at The Yorkshires. Residential Real Estate Awards earlier this month.
The category Ms Purdam won recognises the industry’s most promising new talent working within residential property in the region.
The winner had to be relatively new to the industry and must be exceeding expectations in forging a new career for themselves.
Ms Purdam has worked for Stonebridge Homes for more than two years, joining in August 2020, and quickly progressed from Planner to Senior Planner.
She was described at the ceremony as a strong team player, who always goes above and beyond to get the job done.
Katie said: “I was very shocked to win the award, I wasn’t expecting it at all and it’s so humbling to win.
“This is a massive achievement for my career.
“I’ve worked really hard this year, but it’s so nice to get the recognition and appreciation for it.
“It’s amazing to know that people actually see what you are doing and appreciate you.”
The awards ceremony took place in Leeds, earlier this October.
