A MAN drove at 120mph on the M62 motorway.
Mohammed Hassan Saddiqui’s case was heard at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
Court documents state that on July 13, Saddiqui was caught breaking the 70mph speed limit.
He was driving at an eye-watering 120mph.
He was caught by manned equipment at junction 25 of the motorway near Brighouse.
According to court documents, the matter was proven via a single justice procedure.
A single justice procedure applies to cases involving adults charged with summary-only, non-imprisonable offences.
It allows cases to be dealt with by a single magistrate on the basis of the papers alone, without either party having to attend court for a hearing.
The case was adjourned until November 11.
This is so it can be determined if Saddiqui, of Harvest Park, Bolton, should be disqualified from driving.
The case will be heard before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
