A WOMAN aged 68 was caught with a knife on one of Bradford’s busiest roads.
Anna Milenkovic, of Killinghall Road, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court to be sentenced.
She faced one charge of the possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
Milenkovic was caught with the knife on Killinghall Road on July 30 this year.
She received a four-month prison sentence which was suspended for 12 months.
The court also ordered her to pay a surcharge of £154 to fund victim services.
Milenkovic, whose guilty plea was taken into consideration in sentencing, must also pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The knife will be forfeited and destroyed.
The balance of £239 will be paid at £20 per month.
