A woman has been taken to hospital after being injured in a two-car crash in Bradford tonight.
The woman, who was trapped in the wreckage of one of the vehicles, was freed by firefighters.
The fire service used specilialist cutting equipment to free the casualty.
She was then taken to hospital by the Ambulance Service.
The incident happened at 7.40pm in Toller Lane, Bradford.
Crews from Fairweather Green Fire Station and Bradford Fire Station attended the incident.
Onlookers reported seeing a large presence of police, firefighters and ambulance crews on the scene, with the road completely blocked near the junction with Heaton Park Drive for a lengthy period of time.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews were called to a "road traffic collision involving two cars."
They added: "One female casualty was trapped, and extricated by fire service personnel using specialist cutting equipment."
