A MAN has appeared in court charged with an assault in Bradford city centre.
Lee Mayfield, 56, of Brompton Road, Bradford, has been given a community order after an assault at Centenary Square, Bradford, on November 11, 2021.
He changed his plea to guilty after he had pleaded not guilty at a previous hearing.
Mayfield was also ordered to pay £260 costs. A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing and deductions are to be made from his benefits. A rehabilitation activity requirement was also made as part of the order.
He was also re-sentenced for an original offence of assaulting a police officer on January 20, 2020, in Bradford.
Mayfield pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 11, 2022.
