A MAN has appeared in court charged with possession of cocaine at a Bradford police station.
Ian Crossley, 50, of Hornsea Drive, Wilsden, faced a charge of possession of a controlled drug of class A.
The offence took place at Trafalgar House Police Station, Bradford, on May 28, 2022.
Crossley was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and an £34 victim surcharge for a total of £239. A collection order was made by the court.
The cocaine is to be forfeited and destroyed by West Yorkshire Police. The offence was in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Crossley pleaded guilty to the drugs possession charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 4, 2022.
