A WOMAN who was arrested on suspicion of arson following a house fire in Yeadon has been released on bail as police continue their investigation.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said today a 29-year-old woman had been bailed pending further enquiries after the house fire, which occurred at 2.49am Wednesday on Queensway in Yeadon.
Officers were advised the blaze was believed to have been started deliberately and following enquiries a 29-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
Fire crews from Rawdon, Stanningley and Cookridge tackled the blaze in the early hours of Wednesday morning and rescued one woman from the property.
