POLICE investigating a disorder in Huddersfield have made further arrests.
Officers from Kirklees Police attended four addresses in the town as part of ongoing enquiries into the incident in the Standiforth Lane area on Monday, October 10.
Three men have now been arrested on suspicion of offences including violent disorder, and scenes remain in place at the addresses in the Dalton area today.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the disorder and to the discharge of a blank firearm.
Evidence of a discharge was found on Standiforth Place by officers who were called to Grosvenor Road/Standiforth Lane at about 6.36pm.
No one was reported to be injured in the incident
DCI Marie Bulmer, of Kirklees District CID, said: “I want to reassure residents that extensive enquiries are continuing into Monday night’s disorder with several arrests now made.
“This sort of behaviour will not be tolerated on our streets and we are determined to bring those involved to justice.
“We continue to appeal for witnesses to Monday’s disorder and anyone who can assist police enquiries can contact Kirklees CID on 101 referencing police crime number 13220559954.
