EMERGENCY medical assistance was requested on a flight from Spain to Leeds.
The Ryanair flight was on its way to Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) from Malaga when a passenger fell ill on board.
A spokesperson for the low-cost airline said: “The crew on this flight from Malaga to Leeds requested emergency medical assistance ahead of arrival after a passenger became ill on board.
“The aircraft landed normally and the passenger disembarked and was treated by medics at Leeds Bradford Airport.”
It follows an incident earlier this week following reports of smoke in the cockpit of a plane on Sunday night.
A spokesperson for LBA said: “Precautionary emergency procedures were followed yesterday evening at LBA, however nobody was harmed in the incident and the flight landed safely.
"Normal services at LBA resumed quickly.”
