THE UNIVERSITY of Bradford has been ranked among some of the best universities in the world, according to The Times Higher Education World Rankings 2023.
The University is in the top 501-600 in the world, up an entire band from last year’s 601-800 ranking.
The Times Higher Education World Rankings are the largest and most diverse university rankings to date, covering 1,799 global institutions across 104 countries and regions.
The University of Bradford improved in all five areas used to judge an institution’s performance: teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook.
International outlook was named as Bradford’s biggest asset.
University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shirley Congdon, said: “I am so pleased that the hard work and dedication of our staff – as well as the achievements of our students and graduates - have been recognised by this latest ranking.
“Together with recent achievements, such as our Queen’s Anniversary Prize and being named best in the world for careers and employability in the International Student Barometer 2021, this latest success shows we are moving in the right direction as a leading institution that is making a difference locally and globally.”
