A WOMAN has been banned from driving after failing to provide a specimen to police in Bradford.

Diane Littlefair, 57, of Hirst Lane, Saltaire, faced one charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis – vehicle driver.

When suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen of breath by means of a device in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, Littlefair failed without reasonable excuse, to do so.

The offence took place at Trafalgar House Police Station, Bradford, on July 24, 2022.

Littlefair was disqualified from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for 17 months. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs, fined £120 and a £48 victim surcharge. A collection order was made at the sentencing hearing.

Littlefair was found guilty of the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 3, 2022.
