There's just days left to nominate Bradford's Community Stars for the 12th annual awards ceremony.
The special awards, organised by the Telegraph & Argus and Bradford Council, recognise the district’s unsung heroes who go above and beyond to help others.
It could be a neighbour who is always there to offer a helping hand, a young person heading out for weekly litter picking sessions, or a safe space where everyone feels like they belong.
T&A readers are being asked to nominate people - before Friday, October 14 - then a panel of judges will sift through all the nominations and whittle them down.
It will then be over to the public to vote for the winners.
The winners will be unveiled at a special ceremony and receive the Bradford Medal at the Bradford Hotel in December.
For 2022’s Community Stars Awards, there are nine categories in total: Good Neighbour, sponsored by Incommunities; The Outstanding Contribution to Earliest Years of Life Award, sponsored by Better Start Bradford; Shared Values in Action Award, sponsored by Bradford For Everyone; Voluntary and Community Group; Volunteer of the Year; Young Active Citizens; Business Making a Difference; Fundraiser of the Year, and Outstanding Student of the Year.
