“Millie really wanted to do something, and they put their heads together and came up with this.”
So far they’ve raised over £500 and are just short of their £650 target.
Any money left over after buying presents will be used to get the residents to a pantomime.
“I’ve asked my manager and she’s agreed to let the kids come in on Christmas day and give the 31 residents their presents after their lunch.”
Sophie, 15 said: “We’re really excited.
“It will be fun to see their faces when they get their presents.
“Hopefully they’ll be really happy.”
Samantha will be updating the Go Fund Me page with how her children are getting on with their challenge.
“I can’t tell you how proud I am of them, knowing that they’re doing something to help people.”
