A BRADFORD charity has been awarded a grant which will help to support its work in fighting modern slavery.
The Hope for Justice investigative hub has received £2,500 from Maximus Foundation UK, the not-for-profit arm of Maximus.
Hope for Justice supports and protects victims and survivors of exploitation and human trafficking, and the donation forms part of Maximus Foundation’s latest round of dedicated fundraising to help charities nationwide.
The grant was awarded via a virtual cheque presentation by a Maximus Foundation trustee.
Charis Green, Chair of the Maximus Foundation, said: “Charities of all sizes are finding their services in greater demand as people across the UK face additional challenges.
“We’re delighted to help Hope for Justice to continue its important work to tackle modern slavery and protect people affected by trafficking and exploitation.”
Paul McAnulty, UK & Europe Programme Director, Hope for Justice, added: “The grant from Maximus Foundation will enable Hope for Justice to support people impacted by modern slavery and human trafficking across West Yorkshire.
“It will help us to connect with vulnerable individuals and support them to move on with their lives.”
