A UKRAINIAN refugee who started a relationship with the Bradford man who took her in is planning to return home after their relationship broke down.
Tony Garnett, 30, and his partner welcomed Sofiia Karkadym into their home after she fled Russia in February.
According to reports, twenty-two-year-old Sofiia started a relationship with Mr Garnett shortly after moving into the family home earlier this year.
But just a few months later the pair split up and now reports say she will be packing her bags after attempts at reconciliation failed.
According to The Daily Mail, Mr Garnett told his Sofiia there was no chance they would ever be a couple again and he was keen to 'move on in with my life'.
And Sofiia's mother allegedly told him: "In love, everyone has their own destiny. At first we were not happy, but she said she loved you and that this was a serious relationship. But it is over. We would like her to come home."
She told MailOnline: "'It is a very difficult time for me as I love him very much. I can't let go so easily and I am lost here without any friends or family."
