CORONAVIRUS-related court cases are still making their way through the system.
Earlier this month, a Guiseley man was fined for participating in a gathering of two or more people while restrictions were still in place.
James Hogan, 26, of Silver Cross Way, was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
According to court documents, Hogan, without reasonable excuse, “participated in a gathering in the Tier 4 area of Leeds, which took place in a private dwelling”.
The gathering took place in Bermondsey Street in Otley on January 23 last year, court documents state.
The matter was dealt with via a single justice procedure on September 14.
Hogan was fined £475 and ordered to pay £47.
The balance of £522 must be paid by October 5.
