A MAJOR commuter crossroads is blocked and there is heavy traffic in the area after a crash.
The collision has happened on Otley Road (A6038), in Shipley at Commercial Street (A657), otherwise known as Foxes Corner.
West Yorkshire Police was called to the scene at 10.45am and officers are still there now, with a force vehicle stationed behind the crashed car.
A yellow Seat was involved and looked to have collided with railings at the side of the road as it was heading though the junction towards Baildon.
This badly damaged the front-left side of the vehicle, with its light and bumped smashed and a side panel crumpled.
The car's front-left wheel also managed to become jammed on the other side of the railings, meaning the Seat is wedged in the structure.
A spokesperson for the force said nobody has been injured.
Otley Road is partially blocked in both directions by the crash.
This is leading to congestion in the area.
