EMERGENCY services were scrambled to Buck Wood in Thackley last night.
A man in his 70s had fallen down an embankment and couldn’t be located.
Police, firefighters, paramedics and the Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team all assisted with the search.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 5.05pm to Ainsbury Avenue to reports a man had fallen.
"He was taken to hospital in the care of Yorkshire Ambulance."
