A TEENAGER from Bradford has been locked up over a litany of serious offences.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
On April 29 this year, he unleashed an assault that was racially and religiously aggravated.
On the same day, he damaged a vehicle belonging to the victim and that offence was also racially aggravated.
On July 3, he was caught with a knife and was then charged over offences committed on July 26.
These included the theft of a vehicle and going equipped for the theft of a motor vehicle.
On the M62 at Brighouse, he was caught with a key and coder. He was also caught driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and without third-party insurance.
He failed to stop for police on the M62 and failed to provide a specimen for analysis.
The teenager was also sentenced for the possession of cannabis.
He received a detention and training order with an overall term of 12 months on September 14.
The knife and cannabis will be forfeited and destroyed.
The teenager was also banned from driving for two years and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge for the knife offence.
