A BRADFORD man has been jailed for possession of a weapon designed to discharge CS gas and possession of cocaine.
Scott Lockwood, 35, of Foston Lane, Fagley, was jailed for a total of 26 weeks for a number of charges.
In the first, possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid/gas/ electrical incapacitation device/thing, he was committed to prison for 26 weeks.
Without the authority of the Secretary of State, Lockwood had in his possession a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of CS Gas at Bayswater Grove, Fagley, Bradford, on November 10, 2021.
In the second charge, Lockwood was jailed for 26 weeks, to run concurrently, for having in his possession a quantity of cocaine – a controlled drug of class A. This offence also took place at Bayswater Grove, Bradford, on November 10, 2021. He was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Lockwood was re-sentenced for driving while disqualified. He was committed to prison for 26 weeks, to run concurrently.
The offences were deemed so serious as Lockwood has a ‘flagrant disregard’ for court orders.
Lockwood pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on September 8, 2022.
