TWO people remain in custody today (Wednesday) as police have now confirmed that the investigation on Shetcliffe Lane in Bradford is linked to the Steven Kershaw inquiry - a Bradford man who was reported missing last week.
Police enquiries are continuing today at an address on Shetcliffe Lane and the police scene, not far from the junction with Tong Street, is related to the disappearance of Steven Kershaw.
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the investigation.
"The man and woman remain in custody and enquiries are ongoing," said a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police. "The scene on at Shetcliffe Lane is in relation to this enquiry."
In a statement released on Saturday, a police spokesperson said: “Police searching for missing Steven Kershaw from Bradford have now located the body of a man.
“Police attended at a property in Bradford on Friday night, September 16, and located the body of an adult male.
“While formal identification is yet to take place, Steven’s family have been made aware of the development.”
Residents and local councillors have spoken out over their concerns about the investigation in their community and told the T&A their thoughts are with Mr Kershaw's family.
