A MUM has been fined and another given a conditional discharge for failing to ensure their children were in school.
Both were sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court last Tuesday for being a parent of a child of compulsory school age registered at a school who failed to attend regularly.
Neither parent can be named for legal reasons to protect the identity of their children.
