A TEENAGER threw a missile at fans during a Championship Play-Off match.
Harry Rayne, 19, of Jackroyd Lane in Mirfield, pleaded guilty to throwing a missile at a spectators area at Kirklees Magistrates' Court on August 30.
The 19-year-old launched an unknown object at, or towards, an area where spectators were in The John Smith's Stadium on May 16 this year.
That date was when Huddersfield Town played the second-leg of their Championship Play-Off Semi-Final against Luton Town and booked their place in the final with a 1-0 win (2-1 on aggregate).
They faced Nottingham Forest later that month at Wembley but succumbed to a heart-breaking defeat after a Levi Colwill own-goal in the 43rd minute, meaning The Reds went up to the Premier League in the richest game in world football.
Rayne was remanded on unconditional bail until October 4.
This adjournment was so a football banning order application can be heard.
