PEOPLE in the district that helped mark Queen Elizabeth’s death locally have been praised by the chief executive of Bradford Council.
Kersten England took to social media on Tuesday, the day after the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, to offer thanks to all.
As we prepare to return flags to full mast a huge thank you to the very many people who have worked so hard over the last 12 days across the Bradford District. The passing of the late Queen Elizabeth has been marked with dignity and reverence. #TeamBradford you made it so. 🙏🏾

She said that with their help the late Queen’s passing was able to be marked with “dignity and reverence” across Bradford.

Flags that were flying at half-mast are being raised to full mast on the day following the Queen’s state funeral.
