A multi-million pound cavalcade of cars from Jaguar's heritage collection will parade through Bradford tomorrow, Thursday, headed by Sir Stirling Moss.

Sir Stirling, driving the famous Long Nose D-Type Jaguar, 393RW, will lead the cavalcade y from Bradford's Centenary Square at 11am to Greengates, where he will open the motorsport-themed Speedmaster conference centre at 11.15am.

Before the convoy leaves Centenary Square, the public can meet Sir Stirling and view the vehicles from 10am.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Robin Owens, is set to drive the Jaguar XS and the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Brian Cleasby, is due to travel in the Jaguar XK120, NUB 120, a car that established Jaguar's motorsport credentials.

Meanwhile, James Hanson and his father John Hanson, the owners of Speedmaster, will drive a Le Mans-winning Jaguar C Type, NDU 289.

The cavalcade will be completed by a Jaguar XKR, which was used in the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day, and a 2001 Jaguar XK8 convertible, the model associated with the Austin Powers movies.

Tony O'Keefe, curator of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Collection, said: "It will be the first time that cars like this and such a famous driver have been seen on the streets of Bradford."

From Centenary Square, the cars will travel along Hall Ings and Leeds Road, left into Shipley Airedale Road, right into Barkerend and along Otley Road, which becomes Harrogate Road, to Greengates Traffic Lights, then on to the Speedmaster Centre.
