FIREFIGHTERS were called to an old block of toilets in Shipley last night after reports of a fire.
Crews from Bradford and Shipley attended the scene at around 10pm last night.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The call came in at 10:10pm and the fire was dealt with by 11:00pm.
"The fire was in the roof of the building and some tiles had to be pulled away to get access.
"Someone from the council or Incommunities will secure the toilets."
These toilets were shut years ago as part of council cost-cutting measures but there are plans to reopen them with using Government Towns Fund cash.
