RESIDENTS in a Bradford village will miss out on a popular circus coming to their community this year.
Circus Mondao will not be coming to Wilsden this year as the venue the circus usually performs at has changed ownership.
A message on Circus Mondao's Facebook said: "Unfortunately we will not be coming to Wilsden this year. The venue we normally perform at has changed hands.
"We are sad not to be coming, but we do have other venues in the area you can come and see us.
"Our three other venues where you may be able to see us are Silsden, Calverley and Tingley.
"We are looking to be back in your area in the future, just looking for a suitable venue to accommodate us.
"Thank you for your support over the years and hopefully see you at another of our venues until we can get back to you."
Bradford district residents still interested in Circus Mondao will be able to see its performers in Silsden over a five-day period later this month and early next month.
The circus is due to give eight performances at Keighley Road, Silsden, starting at 5pm on Wednesday, September 28, to Sunday, October 2, when the final performance will be at 2pm.
