Support is out there for anyone struggling with grief following Queen Elizabeth II's death.

That’s the message from of Mind in Bradford’s CEO Helen Davey, describing how the historic event and 24/7 news coverage could trigger those grieving for loved ones who passed away.

Speaking directly to those affected, the mental health charity's CEO said: “The Queen’s death will likely provoke very different reactions across our community. Some people will be deeply upset. Others may react differently.

“For some it might trigger feelings of grief, or bring up old feelings of grief. We urge our community to look out for one another, support your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours. If you're struggling, there is support available.

“Don’t suffer alone, we’re here for you.”

Mind in Bradford's Guide-Line staff are available to speak to every day between 12pm and midnight on 08001 884 884, or online via our live chat service at mindinbradford.org.uk/chat
