A BRADFORD soft play centre has won a regional business award.
Little Daisy's, on Manor Lane, Shipley, beat four finalists to win the Best Soft Play in Yorkshire award at the Englands Business Awards ceremony in the Leeds Marriott Hotel last night (Sunday).
Little Daisy's owners Faye and Adam Carver said the award is an "affirmation" of what the play centre for under-fives has been trying to achieve as a business.
Adam said: "We think we've been nominated by one of our customers.
"It's really nice for other people to come forward and nominate us. This is a nice bit of affirmation of what we've been trying to achieve.
"We're coming up on our 10th anniversary in October and we've created an environment where both kids and their parents want to come back again and again.
"This soft play centre has always been Faye's vision. She's created the fantastic environment we have here."
Adam said the award comes after a difficult period during the pandemic.
"We managed to stay afloat after being open only about four weeks during the 2020 financial year.
"Soft play centres were one of the first businesses to close and the last to open."
Little Daisy's has now advanced to the national finals.
