AN individual was reported to court for driving an overweight van, filled with Coca-Cola bottles, in Bradford.
The driver was stopped on Tong Street on Wednesday by Bradford South and Roads Policing Unit officers.
Police's suspicions of the offence were confirmed at a weighbridge.
The white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was carrying several crates of two-litre Coca-Cola bottles.
A tweet from West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside Team, which tackles the dangerous, illegal and anti-social use of vehicles, said: "This vehicle was stopped on Tong Street by our Roads Policing Unit (RPU) colleagues working alongside us in the Bradford South area.
"The officer's suspicion of it being overweight was confirmed at the weighbridge, resulting in the vehicle being prohibited and the driver being reported to court."
