A road has been cordoned off after it is believed the heavy rain from earlier today has damaged the road surface.
Doctor Lane, Mirfield, has been cordoned off in both directions after rainwater seemingly got under the surface and caused the road to rise.
The cordon can be seen from Huddersfield Road.
One passer-by said: "The PCSO said the cordon was because the rain had brought the road up."
