A PROPERTY developer says his luxury homes are attracting the interest of Premier League footballers and celebrities as he builds up his business.
Richard Masters is the man behind RM Developments, which converts sites into high-end £1 million plus homes.
The firm constructs and renovates properties, property management, property consultancy and sales.
It offers services including roofing, joinery, plumbing, plastering and rendering.
The company, which started in 2016, carries out work in areas in North Leeds and the Bradford district. These areas include Guiseley, Otley, Menston, Ilkley, Baildon, Bingley and Rawdon.
The firm’s properties feature high-end finishing touches including a handmade home bar with truffle oak and indoor swimming pools and attracted interest from unnamed Premier League stars and celebrities.
Mr Masters, 31, who is a company director, said: “I’m trying to build up my property portfolio.
“I have been busy. It is the top end of the market. I started off with a few small projects.
“The houses sell pretty quickly. We do five to six-bedroom homes, normally open plan.
“We want to expand as much as possible in the years to come and move forward and expand to areas like London.
“We have had enquiries for our homes from Manchester, London and the Cheshire areas. We have had enquiries from far afield.
We are getting to £1m properties, which are the top end of the scale. For the interior design of the homes, we go above and beyond. We go that extra mile
“After the pandemic, people invested more in their properties, rather than going away. We have been busy.”
Mr Masters continued to build up his business during the pandemic. In 2020, his work as a property developer continued, as the construction industry was exempt from the employment restrictions imposed by the Government during lockdown.
During this time, he finished off work converting a property at Meadowcroft Farm in Eldwick into an exclusive six-bedroom home.
RM Developments has also been nominated for awards. It was shortlisted for the achiever of the year prize at the 2016 CCISY Celebrating Construction Awards.
The nomination recognised the firm’s work on its current development programme on an eco-build renovation scheme in partnership with Leeds Environmental Design Associates.
Meanwhile, Mr Masters says his luxury and classic car dealers, Masters Prestige, has taken a backseat as he builds up his property development brand.
The venture sees him sell modern and classic supercars, including Ferrari and Aston Martin, with prices ranging between £20,000 and £250,000.
