TO MARK National Cinema Day on September 3, Pictureville Cinema at the National Science and Media Museum is discounting all ticket prices – including for IMAX – to £3.
Among the films screening on National Cinema Day are Steven Spielberg’s family classic E.T – being shown at IMAX for the first time for its 40th anniversary – as well as double bill of Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick.
Other family films on 3 September include the new Pixar release Lightyear, Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan and several 3D IMAX documentaries.
National Cinema Day has been created to celebrate audiences returning to UK theatres after the pandemic, and to encourage viewers to reconnect with the experience of watching film on the big screen.
