FILMING for a major new Netflix drama has been spotted at another Bradford district location.
Salts Mill in Saltaire is being used as a site for filming for the forthcoming drama, Bodies.
The eight-part series Bodies will follow four different eras of London as the same murder is investigated.
The drama is set to star Line of Duty actor Stephen Graham, The Queen’s Gambit Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Unorthodox’s Shira Haas and The Responder’s Amaka Okafor.
Yellow Bradford Council signs are on display in Victoria Road, which explain parking is suspended on this Saltaire street for the filming from Monday, August 29 at 6pm to 11.59pm on Friday, September 2.
Two large production trucks have been spotted parked up on Victoria Road with one of them featuring ‘Warner Bros – Set Lighting and Rigging’ branding.
It is the second of the Bradford district mills to be used for filming for Bodies.
A letter sent to residents of Lister Mills in Manningham, where the drama was filmed earlier this month, says the series will cover four time periods - 1890s, 1940s, 2023 and 2053.
David Wilson, director of Bradford UNESCO City of Film, said: “We’ve been working with this production since late last year. At that stage there was just one location tagged in Bradford.
“I’m pleased to say that the production has kept coming back and over half the show has now been made in Bradford across five different locations.
“We have secured work placements for graduates from the University of Bradford and they are really enjoying the experience.
“It’s a really busy time for production in Bradford at the moment and the trend looks set to continue into the autumn.”
Filming for Bodies is a further example of productions being made in Shipley and Saltaire.
Salts Mill was used for the filming of BBC One drama Gentleman Jack in 2021.
Filming for upcoming ITV drama, Malpractice, has taken place in Shipley this summer.
The former Shipley tax office was used as a site for filming for the forthcoming medical thriller, Malpractice.
A number of large white production trucks and large lighting systems could be seen on the car park outside the site.
A red ‘Accident and Emergency’ sign was spotted on the front of the tax office building.
It was the latest location used for filming for Malpractice in the Bradford district over the summer. Shipley Town Hall in Kirkgate was used as a location in June for scenes, as was City Hall in Bradford.
