A MAN has appeared in court charged with obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty in the Bradford district.
Cameron Brook, 18, of West Royd Drive, Shipley, faced one charge of obstructing a constable in the execution of their duty.
On February 27, 2022 in Shipley, Brook resisted and wilfully obstructed a police officer contrary to the Police Act 1996.
Brook was handed a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £22 victim surcharge. A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.
Brook pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 11, 2022.
